Stopped at two other hotels before seeing this one. Definitely worth your money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Have to say one of the best places I've stayed. Room was very clean and breakfast was good with many options. Regretted not staying a day longer.
Solid stay, clean, a bit dated, staff wonderful, breakfast blah. Good parking. No USB charging in room: make sure you have an ac charging brick. Fridge and microwave ok. Coffee service was a bit rough. Better in the lobby.
Nice rooms and the hot tub and pool are in great shminutiae. A half mile of I90. Breakfast was decent. An extra charge was added to my card but they were able to reverse it right away. The pillows are minuture. Would have gave 5 stars if the pillows were better.
Rooms were nice. Minor damage but fixable. The entrance was kinda goofy. Lots of hunters this time of year. But the hottub was hot, staff was super nice. Ain't much more you can ask for in a hotel when working on the road. We will be back again. Thanks a bunch.
Clean. Very friendly. Allows cats and dogs. Smelled the pool as soon as I walked in. Decent amount of parking. Serves breakfast. I think the only downside, but isn't the end of the world is there wasn't a freezer to put my ice packs in. It would be nice to have a nightlight in the bathroom, but again isn't absolutely necessary. This place is worth it for the sole purpose of sleeping and relaxing after a long drive.
A great place to stay a night if you're in town for the Corn Palace. TV was easy to use (not all of them are) Wifi was fast (18 mbps download/13 mbps upload) Tub water was only lukewarm and plug wouldn't hold water (room 117) Breakfast was a small eating area but clean. Had ham and scrambled eggs, bread products, pancake machine, cereals (etc) Cost was about $115 USD before taxes end of Sept 2025.
After a terrible experience at another hotel, we hit the road and kept driving. This is where we met Wendy. The most amazing worker at the American Inn at Mitchell. A true treasure and what every hotel employee should inspire to be. Friendly, warm, inviting, and great directions and recommendations of things to do in the area. The hotel was clean, quiet and offered a great breakfast in the morning. Thanks for turning our trip around Wendy!
Appreciated the friendly service at check in and when we had a key issue. Wendy was very helpful! Food and dining areas were clean. Hotel areas and rooms including an outdoor patio were clean and well maintained. I liked the location as it was directly off the highway but not the busy shopping/hotel area and had a huge parking lot with very easy access to hotel.
